First, let us define for you what the word kook means. Kook is a surfer term for someone that tries very hard to pose as a surfer or is surfing and doesn't really know what they're doing. A kook is as so someone that goes to every surfing or skateboarding event to hangout, compile pictures, start conversations, and generally be seen with real surfers or skateboarders.
Be true to who you are, as a surfer we all go through that kook phase in our life. Where we don't quite have the hang of surfing and might drop in on someone.
